Default Don't be too harsh on me. Neglected flatty fire up.

I want to run my Model A roadster on 32 rails (Old Rusty) at the VHRA Vintage nationals (Drags) next Saturday. Problem is, it's been parked outside under a tarp for the last 18 months.

I made a video showing it being uncovered, and fired up. I also managed to eventually film a run around the block. It took 6 goes to successfully get both a video clip and an audio clip.

The next installment, if all goes to plan will include the trip to the drags and maybe some race action.

Anyway, check out the video, and please click like, and subscribe, and hopefully someone other than Ralph (thanks Ralph) will leave a comment!..

Thanks a lot.

Mart.

Great car and video Mart! I had a hard enough time driving an automatic in England, let along a stick. Obviously you're used to it.

Have Fun!

Glad it fired up after all that sitting outside in the weather. Hope you are able to
get year round inside storage pretty soon.

Sounding great Mart! That 276 would sure blow the doors of my stock 52 Merc. I'll be taking my first drive of spring in it any day now. I won't have near the traffic to deal with that you had there. Sounds like a great show coming up this weekend for you. No doubt you will have some video of it?

Loved the video! And a real Hot Rod!
Makes me think of that old saying;
“ There are street rods and there are Hot Rods,
Street rods have a Chevy up front and a can of wax in the boot,
Hot Rods have a flathead up front, and tools in the boot!”
(Modified slightly for across the pond)
How about making one of the drags as well?

Mart: are those open pipes?, car sounds/runs great, now to mount a set of slicks on the rear and really terrorize the neighborhood.
