Default 48-52 Steering Gear Diagram

Anyone ever notice that this diagram has an error? I'm pretty sure that when I removed my wheel, the "cup" 3646 was flush up against the steering wheel and held in place with the steering wheel nut 356091-S.

Don't think I've spotted any errors before in Ford's diagrams.....

Thanks. Like I said..... never seen a mistake in one of their drawings before.
I'm not Ross F-1 but I've been looking at Ford diagrams at least 30 years.
