Default 1934 4-door roof wooden ribs

Here we have a lowly 4-door being resuscitated from the dead...no money to restore just time to repair...plan on assembling it on a strict budget. Can anyone provide a sketch with measurements of the roof ribs so I can fabricate some? I could use the length, amount of crown, cross sectional size, and distance between mounting holes...Perhaps each one is unique in length? Thanks in advance for any help...

Wow! Really great to see another one being brought back to life! Good for you. I think the 'lowly' 4-door is one of the nicest designs of all the early Fords. Keep up the good work!
Doug.

Beauty and lowly are only in the eyes of the beholder!!
Looks like a beauty to me!! Probably a bit prejudiced I suppose--

This is from one bow that I removed from my 'late33-early34'.
Caution -- I would make the bows to fit your body. I wouldn't trust the info I provided, except as a guide. I assume you have the welded-in brackets that these bows attach to. You should be able to come up with your own dimensions. The bow I've measured has NO crown. Maybe it did, originally? Weather has taken its toll on this bow.
I have no idea if this is, or is not, an original bow. It looks old, so maybe it is original???

I meant to include this picture. It is the car that the bow was removed from.

BobH, thanks so much for the response with pixs and sketch! ...will be able to make some roof bows up now...
Attached here are pixs of progress, more floor patches, battery cover and diff lid, etc.. for the floor. did a quick woodgrain on the dash and lids with brown ink over rusty metal primer followed by satin clear for the old patina look....saved a windshield crank from rust-stuck so got a crank-out windshield now.
Got cracking today and built this seat using a 33 3 -window seat as an example and measurements (save the 3-w seat for another day?) Will trim the foam with carving knife and wrap it with an old curtain for cushions. A Honda prelude rear seat will do for now. Next project will be the wood floorboard and throttle spoon on the firewall.

I borrowed some original '34 5WC roof bows from Gene at A&A resto and they definitely have crown of about 5/8 to 7/8" depending upon length. So I use them for pattern. Here attached are some new pixs of progress and also of the pathetic fenders I may have to patch unless someone has some better donor fenders...

I have these I am no longer in need of . Used them for one summer and they have no damage . They are repops but they did fit decent after a little finesseing . The roof bows are used and are from a 33 4d but the curvature is still right . Anywayz $500 and they are yours . That does NOT include shipping and I am near St Paul MN . Also have a couple front seat frames from 34 4d's . Dave
