Default Kudos to Skip Haney

I sent a coil down to Skip and it was damaged on the way. The housing for the condenser was in about 6 pieces. Skip glued it all back together for me and didn't charge anything extra. Very impressed with the quick turn-around also. I had the rebuilt coil back in less than 2 weeks from the time I sent it! Nice doing business with a guy like Skip!

Anyone with parts that Skip is capable of fixing, would do very well to have him do the work. Here's one of my stories...

I broke a coil and at the time didn't realize it was my fault. Skip replaced it. This was about seven years ago. I did business with him last summer and tried to slide in payment for the replacement that he was in no way responsible for (I'd figured things out a while ago). He wouldn't accept it. Steadfastly stood behind the product support side of his business when it went against his bottom line.

All my V-8 buddies use him.

I've had three coils done by him -one for my 33, one for a 37 truck, and one for a 41 Merc. They all run and start great now.

You half to give George Mitchell credit also. He works in George shop and they are buddies. If you have a problem George can solve it I have found. Both of them are the best.

I've had many early Ford coils and water pumps rebuilt by Skip Haney. He has always done an excellent job on everything I've sent him. I personally would not go anywhere in my old Fords if they were not using one of his rewound coils. The insulated materials he uses in his rebuilds today are far superior to those used in these coils originally manufactured for Ford.
Many folks only think cost when they need water pumps, and will buy new repro (made in China) pumps instead of having originals rebuilt by Skip, but I will gladly pay the extra $'s to have his quality rebuilds on my cars.
