Has anyone sold at Turkey Rod Run in Daytona Beach?
I'm interested in selling there, but at $150 a space I don't want to take a leap of faith. So, has anyone here sold at that event at any time during the last few years? If so, was it worthwhile? Because of expenses and time, in order for it to be worthwhile to me I would be looking for thousands in sales, not hundreds.
Thank you. |

Re: Has anyone sold at Turkey Rod Run in Daytona Beach?
I'm here in Jacksonville and have two friends that carry vehicles down for the past three years (mostly resto moded 50"s chevy trucks).....I know they have "sold" a few down there and had lots of looker's and several offers, last year they did not sell at the show BUT did sell to someone from the show afterward. Of course its an easy travel from here...hope that helps

The buildings will be secured at 6 PM daily. This will be strictly enfornced by our staff. Please prepare for these hours and make plans accordingly. If you cannot abide by these rules then please make arrangements to be moved to an outside space. If you choose to camp inside the grounds there will be a 12am-6am quite time for all generators. I went a few yrs when I was there (think around 06-09 time), as a viewer and possible buyer.
It gets good attendance. It's a fun place to see cars, right in the infield of Daytona speedway. I guess it depends on the parts. Most are looking for high performance or full bodies to rod. zephyrhills and bushnell/sumter have monthly swaps. https://www.eventcrazy.com/Bushnell-...ty-Fairgrounds Don't forget Billetproof in Gainesville also at Dons. It depends on what your selling. I bought a decent 53 and drove it home to tampa around 06ish. Last edited by Tinker; 10-26-2018 at 07:27 PM. |
