Default 8BA Head

Best way to remove an 8BA Head. All the Bolts are out, hoses etc. Thanks very much.

Give it a few taps up by the thermostat housing area.

I have seen a few guys say to put a couple bolts back in and crank the motor over with the coil wire removed. Supposed to pop it up and the bolts keep it from coming off completely.

Don't be tempted to pry it up with a screwdriver.

Make a hook that screws into a spark plug hole, connect a slide hammer into the hook.
About four raps with the slide hammer and it should come off
