Well I just noticed my 47 tonner with a v8 doesn't have the forward mounts for the six cyl option. My whole cummins swap was built to drop into this setting and for the first time I see this rig only has the holes for the v8. The motor mount hole is 1 1/4" so I can bore it with a hole saw but wtf?

What's strange is it has the forward radiator mounts for the six in the front cross member, but not the 1 1/4" dia diagonal motor mounts.

I take that as a challenge..... I can have those two holes bored through there in 15 minutes! Just thought it was so odd that of all the 46 and 47 trucks I have here, maybe seven of them, this is the ONLY one that doesn't have the six cyl mounts drilled..(I never even looked). And the only one that actually needs them. Ironic that I spent many extra hours engineering an engine conversion package that does not require even one small hole in the frame or sheet metal and then this. I will drill them tomorrow, and proceed as planned. Your's truly, a Real Hotrodder. (if a 210 cu in, 120 hp 6 cyl oilburner measures up to that status)....

Six minutes to do the both of 'em.... The two hole mounts ate a shaped a bit differently than the 4 hole, but I have it covered. They are all 1 1/4"

Thanks! I expect nothing less than a positive response from a guy that uses Sky King's 'Songbird' as his avatar. (The Flying Crown Ranch insignia on the fuselage is a dead giveaway).....This has been a really fun and 'head scratching' build.
