Hmmm...the tax man I used to use would have a different opinion. He said the vehicle had to be actually used in the conduct of the business. Presence or absence of advertising on the outside of the vehicle makes no difference, only the way the vehicle is used. I think he would say (and I suspect the IRS would agree) that use of a picture of a car does not constitute deductible use of the car itself.

Now, if the car were on display outside your business every day as part of your ongoing ad campaign, that would be different.

Something to check with your tax person before making a claim.
