Sanderson Headers. '35-'40.
Has anybody used the Sanderson FH2 headers that are meant to work with '35-'40 Fords with stock chassis and steering?
They look the best headers for both quality and design. If they do actually fit as they say then its a win, win all round. http://www.sandersonheaders.com/Sand...eader-Set.html |

Here is a set of Red's headers on my 36. They fit. If the Sandersons look like these, then they should work. It is a snug fit around the steering box. Ed

The Sandersons are the ones I posted. They don't look like Reds.

Call Sanderson and ask if they fit. They are good about answering questions and won't sell you something you can't use.

Re: Sanderson Headers. '35-'40.
Like you I really like the way they look. So I bought a set for my 41 pickup with an 8BA, stock steering, stock wishbone.
They DO NOT FIT. They clear the steering box but not the steering shaft. I beat the top tube and cut the outer steering column and got them to work, but it looked so bad I took them off. I got a set of Reds and they fit great. Even if you got the headers to clear running pipes to the mufflers on an X frame car would be a nightmare. If you want these PM me I will sell them CHEAP |

Reds headers are tailored made for each application. I have a set on a BRT in a '32 chassis with F1 steering and they fit perfectly. Jim asks those key questions when you talk to them, so they fit right the first time. They are also excellent, heavy duty quality.
