Default Ocean to Ocean Model T Race 2009

Were any Fordbarners on the Ocean to Ocean model T race last summer?

I really got a kick out of seeing all the cars when there were here in Abilene KS. I have loved model Ts ever since Mike "barn find T" and I got his roadster running a few years ago. I have a T chassis I'd like to build a speedster out of someday.

Here are some pics from the Abilene stop of the model T "race":

It was really neat seeing all those Ts. Most of the drivers were very friendly.

Do you know if the car in the picture is the original #2 from the HF Museum, or a recreation? The one in my avatar is the original (as far as I know). I see a few differences.

No I don't. The driver didn't talk much, as he seemed to be one of the less friendly ones....

I wasn't on that one but, I was on the "Sea to Sea" Tour the year before as co-pilot in the Black '27 Coupe in your photos. It was a hoot. Wayno

The first photo is of my neighbor putting water in the New York to Seattle Speedster. I’m not sure if he is on the FordBarn or not as I mostly stay on the early V8 forum.
