Just bought the 28 phaeton. Got it for the two grand I offered him. His family bought the car new in 28 and have had it ever since. Been in a barn since 1966. Unbelievable shpe. Post a pic when I figuer out how

Have you found out what happened to the top bows? It would be nice if they were in the rafters, or tucked away someplace closeby.

What condition is the car in as far as paint, rust, things being messed with, or redone? I would like to converse with you by email for some details, as I also have a 28 Phaeton. 'd like to see a picture of the side curtain pan. Did any side curtains come with the car? Is there a date on your gas tank, and do you know the engine number or number for the chassis, which should also be on the title?
At $2,000, I'd say you were very lucky to find that car. |
