1936 Ford Pickup - Electric Radiator Fan
hey has anyone fitted an electric fan on a 1936 ford pickup radiator and what size and brand have you used ??

It's best to address the reason you're considering an electric fan, as the cons outweigh the pros.

If you are 12 volt the best fan is from Cooling Components. Their fans are designed to fit the width of your radiator and come with their own shroud. You will need to run a relay also. They are not cheap, but they do work. They area "puller" type fan.

Also be sure you have the amperage to run the fan, some of them draw more amps than you have available with a generator.

I run one in my 35 pickup. Its a cheap brand but does pull amps tho'. If I was in the U.S. I'd go a Spal. 16" I use a Davies /Craig digital thermo fan switch [very easy] https://daviescraig.com.au/product/d...h-12v-24v-0444
not really much more to say set it at 185-190 hardly ever comes on for me.
