31 Coupe body
Took the 31 coupe out of the shed today because of the hurricane. A precaution in case the shed collapsed. Had it happen to a friend during Andrew. Anyway it rained and the wind blew . Checked the car during a lull and noticed the right rear upper corner upholstry on the curve between the quarter window and the rear window was damp. What I want to know is there a sealer in the seam where the side and rear panels are bolted together.?. Roof seems ok. Headliner seems dry. Tony

Re: 31 Coupe body
I just took my 30' coupe apart and there was no seam sealer in that joint, only friction tape.

Re: 31 Coupe body
There is an area in each upper rear corner of the top prone to leaking. This is where the seam moulding is between where the side panel and rear roof panel are joined. On the inside of the body they formed a drip rail of sorts to guide the water down to the trunk/rumble lid trough to flow rearward and exit the rear corner of the body. It sounds like it didn't work!
