Now that's a good car. If I didn't already have a roadster, I would be all over that one. it's got the look.

Yup. A really neat car. First off, it is a standard roadster, not a faked deluxe. And it still has the trunk. There are lots of Model As for sale, but very few really honest ones. Cars like this are really fewer and far between. This would be a Model A worth buying. It's not your typical Model A offering. I would replace the tires, service it, and drive it the way it is. Someone should fly in and buy it, heck the timing is perfect to show the car at the OC Pancake Breakfast next weekend!

Great car. I would do nothing to it but tires.

That's a nice Roadster. I like that.

Hopefully if it gets restored I hope they keep it a Standard Roadster.

Why restore it? There must be a zillion restored examples.
Restored, it's just another Model A.

Nice looking unrestored car but might warrant a closer look. The outside looks like it was washed and buffed but the inside left untouched. The bare pinstripe and paint areas seem to be like they were worn through by cleaning/buffing over time and not by rust. The sparse rust on the bumpers and other chrome parts does not seem compatible with the totally rusty wheels. Also, the top looks to be in excellent shape and almost new but it would be very unusual to see an original top anywhere. Didn't the standard have black stanchions and not chrome?

Again, a nice car but it I would want to take a closer look. I am an eastern guy not accustomed to seeing southern Cal cars so this could be the real deal.

It is in Lake Elsinore, about 30 miles from my house. The bidding is up to $14,100 and the reserve has not been met. Nice car but the reserve and/or the bidding may mean it is not going to be a good deal.

Past being a good deal and it likely won’t meet reserve. As for the top mentioned above it is not original

No, this POS is overpriced.

It will cost me 10k for a paint job.

10 K more to trim it.

Then I wil need new tires at 1200 bucks.

Have to rechromw everything, hmmm 2K?

Then them brakes, welllll another 2K.

Then who knows what the drive train and engine is like.

Maybe it is best the seller gives me 15K and i take it away for free......

Sometimes it makes me puke how you guys pick on everything that someone else owns.

This is the most original Model A standard roadster I have seen ever.

Looks like the one my father bought for 30 quid and went at the back of it with an oxy.

This is a prime candidate for recreating a 1950 teenager's car: you know, a hopped up flathead, dropped axle, channeled, '40 wheels and brakes, and no fenders!

hiboy9.jpgYee haa rescued from the restorers.

I would certainly like to see this one left alone and driven as is. or hot rodded in 50/s stlye , not "restored" to shiny 2K paint.

Got a notification this morning that the car is no longer available. Apparently, it went for $17,100.

Sorry, wrong car. It was another I was looking at. Bid is now up to $17,399 and reserve not met yet.
