1930 Jefferson faceted-glass STOP light, rare
City:
Granger
State:
IN
Price:
$300 shp
SOLD SOLD From my own collection of taillights is this 1930s vintage Jefferson STOP light with a faceted red-glass lens. It is a single-wire light so was an early add on for a stop light on a car or motorcycle. It is 3 1/4" in diameter with a brass bezel. The only markings on it anywhere are on the back of the glass lens where it says "Jefferson. The lens is rad faceted glass and is perfect. The entire unit is in extremely nice condition. The bucket has no dents or repairs and has only a small portion of pitting under the bezel area. I cleaned it up back when I got it and painted it satin black, installed a new 12v bulb and a new piece of cloth-covered wire. The faceted license plate reflector was on the light when I got it and I left it because it matches the lens. The light does work. There is a mount on the light that is adjustable for positioning the angle. Very rare light! $300 shipped in USA is my firm price. If you have questions or want to purchase please contact me here on the Barn or email me at [email protected].
