Throttle rod question
I am working out the details of getting my Town Sedan going smoothly and have a question about the throttle rod.
The vehicle was ideling a bit fast so I made sure the hand throttle was fully up and adjusted the stop on the carburetor, but the stop did nothing because the hand throttle was stopping it from bottoming out. I saw no adjustment so I bent the rod between the steering column and V thing. Then I could use the stop on the carb. Did I miss some place to make an adjustment or is there a better way? |

Re: Throttle rod question
Thanks Gary-- It's a 31 town sedan.
I did some work on the steering box so that makes sense. |

Re: Throttle rod question
I did some work and didn’t get the clamp tight, I was in a hurry to go for a test drive :-( After rework, I got to go for another test drive :-)
