Default Sharing a fail

I am the first one to proudly share pictures of one of my beautifully refinished Model A fenders.
Today I am sharing a fail! The picture below shows what happens if you rush (spring is coming) and try to lay down too wet of a coat when it is too cool! I am sharing to make an important point. Restoring our model A Fords is not a single event, but a journey. My journey just hit a bump in the road. Disappointing yes, but not a disaster. I'll sand it back down and shoot it again. All I have lost is a little product and some time, but I have gained a lesson in the importance patience. TAKE YOUR TIME AND DO IT RIGHT!

OH, and yes I'll share some more pictures after I have taken my own advice!

I understand professional painters use a small file like tool to shave off the sag and then polish it. No need to re-spray.

Yes, a "nib file". Have one and will give it a try, but if I go too far it will be a do over. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for sharing. It is always great to get an insight or reminder about our hobby.
If everything went according to plan. this site might be almost non-existent.
Good luck with the nib file... it may not be as bad as it looks.

We heat all our paint before we spray, like 100-110. When it goes on it flows out and you get no orange peel, if you get a run it will flow out
