Default Canadian Eng. #'s

Did the assigned motor #'s that start with CA after the star correspond with the US #'s. I found a tudor sedan for sale close to me with a CA59XX four digit motor #. It has a left hand e-brake vertical fluted lenses . That # in the US would be a early Jan. motor. Forgot to check the generator.
Just curious. Perry

That engine number would date it as an April 28 Refer to the attached link

Where this tudor is for sale there are a few other cars that have been stored away for many years. LaSalles, Cads, Packard's & Model A's. All from the 20's & 30's. The guy was collecting for his retirement & passed away. Only car that has been sold so far, a 29 Model A rdstr. sold last week. It was put into storage in 1953 with Calif. plates. The guy that bought it came by my place to get some advice. He paid $4500 for the rdstr. It was totally rust free with a flawless body & perfect doors & fenders. I saw several pics of the car. The motor was free but tires, hoses & belt were bad. The cars are being sold by a guy for his aunt. He is out of town for another three weeks. I have seen the early tudor in person & several pics of the other cars. The tudor is the roughest of all the other cars but runs & drives. I would say the tudor is worth half of what they sold the rdstr. for.
