1955 vs 1956 fairlane trim question

Hi to all
question.....on a 55 vs a 56 Fairlane trim, the checkmark trim from the front fender to across the door...is the 56 trim greater in width than the 55 ?..thanks in advance, John in CT

I believe it is wider, also the badging is all different

I also think that the '55 and '56 trim holes are in a little different location, on the front fenders, and I'm certain they are on the doors.

All hole locations for trim fasteners are in different locations on front doors and front fenders between the 55 and 56 Fairlane models. I am pretty certain that there is not one fastener that is interchangeable between the two years due to the different trim widths
