Default Electric Power Steering Conversion

Has anyone installed EPAS Power Steering. looking for feedback. I have a 64 Galaxie and at 76 it's a real tank when parking and maneuvering at low speed. Check out the EPAS web site https://epasperformance.com/collections/ford

How good are you at fabricating? Such as cutting and splicing column and making mount to hold unit. Electric module is easy to hook up. You can save about $700.00 on unit. I purchase mine from vendor in California. He is very helpful. Last one I did was in a 35 Ford.
It was located in engine bay.

go over to the HAMB '52 to '59 Ford Social club and search for "electric steering". There are many threads about installation and sourcing from modern vehicles that don't use modules to control them. Lots of DYI information.

Try going to u tube and searching electric power steering conversions. Also check electric power steering for 64 falcon. The guy is very knowledgeable and will show you how to do it yourself. I used a lot of his ideas and put electric power steering in a 54 ford wagon with automatic transmission on the column. Dave
