Blinkers
I have a 52 Mainline. Having blinker issues. Wondering if there is a wiring diagram out there that a novice could understand? Thoughts?

Re: Blinkers
Currently I have nothing. What I'm after is any diagram of the junction box for under the dash for all the wires.

Re: Blinkers
Unfortunately, the link Coopman provided is a "schematic". It shows the correct "logical" routing of the wires, but not the physical layout. Therefore it needs to be interpreted and the wires traced through the circuit. Hopefully, someone out there has the diagram you are looking for. Tracing the wires can prove to be a difficult job, as they are bundled together, the colors fade, and they are in hard to see places.
Have you checked thee "easy" things first? Make sure any fuses in the circuit are good, as well as the flasher unit and the bulbs. |

Re: Blinkers
As "tubman" suggests above, and since you have NOTHING, check the 20 amp FUSE & the FLASHER, which can both be seen on the schematic I posted, just to the left, and slightly down from the TEMP, FUEL and OIL instrument cluster located just about MID drawing. The TURN SIGNAL switch and JUNCTION box are located just to the right of the instrument cluster. DD

Re: Blinkers
Maybe it's low on blinker fluid. LOL

Re: Blinkers
You need to do some testing with a test light to see where you are getting or not getting power in the blinker circuit. Check first for power at the battery supply on one of the flasher can terminals or at the appropriate fuse. Might need the ignition switch turned on as well. No point in guessing what is going on. Actual testing is the key here. Regards, Kevin.

Re: Blinkers
Still have the 6 volt factory wiring. Another question I would have is, do you need to use the wiring block under the dash? Or can wires be connected directly?

Re: Blinkers
Yes, found out that the brake switch connected to the master cylinder was bad. That fixed the brake lights. Then connected a test light found blinker wire. So now my question is do you need to use the wiring block that connects all wires, or can you hook wires up directly.
