high boy air cleaner
I see these air cleaners for sale on Ebay. Do they work well or are they too restrictive. If they're ok, I'd like to build one. Will someone share a list of parts please. Thanks

How about an item number? I for one do not have time to search.

I am also interested. The setup I have now, an airmaze with K&N filter is in the way of the Aermore whistle I want to install. This highboy looks like I can still have a filter AND clearance.

Re: high boy air cleaner
It works great for me. I wish I'd cobbled it together in the first place. Then I could buy some plumbing parts and a good filter and sell it on the internet.
I think you should lay out the $50 and support the guy who did do the thinking work. Then you'd have time to think through some other problem and sell your solution to the rest of us. |

Here ya go. I use one of these. It has a K&N filter, should be free flow.

Re: high boy air cleaner
Would be nice if I could buy just the tubing as I already have the filter.

Re: high boy air cleaner
Thanks Willie Krash. Looks like it will fit. Hope it doesn't constrict the air flow. In a few weeks we're going on a tour to yosemite and the tour director mentioned some dirt roads. I'll report back later.

Re: high boy air cleaner
The Snyder filters look great too, the K&N is a cotton filter impregnated with oil too. I've had no problems and I'm not keen on dirt in my motor.
Have fun in Yosemite Glen. Mike |

Re: high boy air cleaner
Is there a reason Henry didn't have them in the first place? I bet there was a pile more dust and dirt flying around back then.
