Default Turn signal flasher

I installed turn signals 4 years ago and never have had a problem until lately. I'm running 6 volts with a 900 signalstat. The problem is some times and it's getting more often, the flasher doesn't flash but a couple times and then just stays lite up on the signalstatt and also the turn signal light. If this is the flasher unit going bad what NAPA number would I ask for? I'm running non LED's.

Flashers are cheap, drive the car to the part shop, pull the flasher and buy a new matching unit.
Or you may have a bad ground.

Yep, what Burner31 said. Its easy to remove the old flasher and see what number it is. It is probably a 535 [ 3 prong]. New ones however can sometimes be junk and old originals are usually the best quality.

Flashers do wear out, especially some of the newer cheapies. They get intermittent or quit completely. Replace the flasher and if still trouble, check the light sockets/wiring.
