Default Splash Pan Hole Repair?

The splash tray in my core engine has at least one hole in it, maybe more after more cleaning. Each of the indents has corrosion on the bottom.

Is there a reliable way to repair this?

Randy

I solder them using HCL as the flux.

I was thinking maybe a good silver solder or silver braze....

I used just ordinary solder, working from the bottom (underside) is easiest so you don't have any trouble with grinding out the deep pitting to obtain a good surface for tinning before applying the solder. You will be the only person who knows it's there.
If you apply the solder from the top side be careful that you don't have to high of a build up that may clash with the dippers on your connecting rods.

I brazed a couple of them after struggling to get solder to take.
