Default Replace '40 Sedan Trunk/Chain Box?

I'm trying to wrap my head around the rot in the floor pan and trunk of my '40 Tudor. I want to do it right and use pans with the correct embossments and contours, not go the replacement/street rod/sheet metal shop bend-on-a-brake route. Floor pan seems simple enough - either patches or full pan replacement, but the trunk's another story. My trunk has the usual rear pan/chain box rot, along with the spare tire well. With the repop coupe trunk pan you don't get the spare tire well which the sedans have (and I haven't found a patch panel to fill the hole in the well-yet). But the tool/chain box is what has me baffled - is it the same shape/profile for both coupes and sedans? From what several ads say it should be, but I'm suspicious. Would a model 77 (coupe) trunk pan work in a model 70 (tudor)?

I think Drake may make the lower panel below the deck lid and also the tool tray for tudor. To my knowledge the tool tray in a tudor is different than a coupe.

Tool pan for the sedans is much different than the coupe / convertible pan. EMS is, as far as I know, your only option. Be aware though that most of their stuff is "okay" at best and typically requires some effort to make fitment correct.

Drake does in fact have the lower trunk panel for the tudor sedan. Page 467 of his catalog. He also has the trunk lid striker support. I don't see the tool tray listed.

I made a comment on another post re. '40 sheet metal and made a comment asking EMS to consider tooling up for a replacement tool/chain box for sedans. I am very well aware that there are choices for the tail pan/outer panel - it's the stuff that's "under the skin" I need to source, and something that looks as well as fits like factory - not some street rodder-style pieced-together setup like some sell. Oh, and also that d***ed tire well for the sedans in the trunk.

After looking my floors over closer today I'm becoming more convinced that simply patching the floor pans won't cut it, and the area under the rear seat is also marginal for thickness and strength. If only I had a coupe instead of a two-door...
