Default Installing rear bumpers

I am installing new rear bumpers on my 1930 Model A Standard Roadster. I notice that the curve of the bumper is not symmetrical. When looking down on top of the bumper bars, one end has a sharper curve than the other end. Does the sharper curved end go towards the center of the vehicle, or towards the outside of the vehicle. The judging standards is no help on this question, nor did I find the answer in a search of the Ford Barn threads.

My Left butt cheek is bigger & more rounded than the Right, but NO ONE even comments about it.
