Re: Posting pictures on the Barn?
I'm not an expert but I use the paper clip function, then add pictures. I ran into problems with very large files not being accepted

Re: Posting pictures on the Barn?
Easy way for pics:
Click the "blue post reply" lower left bottom of page, when text box opens, in the top middle of the bar you will see a "paperclip" click that, a window will open "manage attachments" click "choose file" then pick your picture, after you picked up to seven pics click the top "upload" on the right hand side of the text box, wait for it to upload. You must type something, anything into the text box message, scroll down to see "preview post" at bottom of your text box, you should see your message as it will appear when you post, if you like it click "submit reply" to post. Easy-cheesy

Posting Pictures does not work for me any more. There is some thing wrong with the Ford Barn site. I can post pictures anywhere else, like I have always done, with no problems. This started for me when to Ford Barn was changing some of there program. Herm. |

If you hover the mouse pointer over the top paperclip, it will say "Attachments" where the lower one with the planet Earth will say "Insert Link". You want the "Attachments" one in the top row. |

This is the sign I get !

Maybe you need to sign out and then sign back in.
I'll try another picture. Ever wonder where I got my screen name? Randy I click on "go Advanced" Enter text Go to "Manage attachments" choose file Select Upload

Re: Posting pictures on the Barn?
Your picture file must meet all the size requirements for your file format. Those requirements are stated in the attachments window.
I don't know why after years of this question coming up Ryan doesn't put simple instructions in a sticky at the top.

Re: Posting pictures on the Barn?
Another work around.
Go to this site http://tinypic.com/ Browse to your jpg picture and click upload now. Make sure your picture file is resized to small file size first. Then enter the code, it will convert it to HTML, URL, or IMG. Copy the URL or IMG and then in the forum click on the icon that says insert image and paste it in. This will usually work with either URL or IMG depending on the forum.

Yup, exactly as mine does now ! I've not done anything different than what I've done for years, when posting pictures worked for me. Posting pictures makes a 'story' a lot simpler/clearer when trying to explain and/or help with someone's inquiry or with my questions. YOUR pictures have helped many here and they will be missed. |

Re: Posting pictures on the Barn?
I have been posting pictures the past two weeks using the method I described above with no problem.

Re: Posting pictures on the Barn?
Since something changed a month or so back, I can't post the icons, but can post pictures the same way I always did.
Click "Go Advanced", then scroll down to "Manage Attachments" Then click "Browse" and find the picture in "My Pictures" in my computer Then click on the picture and "Upload" |
