Default RPU Picture

I’m still looking for a good, close up picture of the stanchion/cowl joint on a 28-29 RPU. As far as I can determine mine is not stock but I don’t know what it’s supposed to look like.

It should look like 28/29 roadsters and phaeton, which are easier to find. The OCPU uses the same stanchions and dash panel as roadsters and phaetons.

Here's a couple of pictures I had saved that show what the top of the posts should look like after the windshield posts are removed. Also a couple of the inner parts present in the assembly. Good luck. Any pictures of what you're working with?

If the above pictures don't show what you need could you possibly have a closed car cowl cut down to make an open car? Just wondering.......

Your pictures showed me just what I needed to see. For some reason that I don’t understand a previous owner filled in the seam and screw heads with filler. Unfortunately that means that a simple stanchion change will require paint and pin striping.
