Default Need help ID'ing a couple air cleaners.

Got these with my pickup 20 years ago and its time to go but I haven't a clue as to what they are. The one on the left is a oil bath (still full of oil) and has a large diamond with a D in the middle. The other larger one seems to be unmarked and I can't see that it was an oil bath. Any ideas???? Thanks.

38bill, if you don't have a specific need for the 36 air cleaner, i could be a prospect for it, depending on the price and your willingness to pack and ship the piece to Alberta. Ron

The one on the right looks like early 50's Chevy.

Posting a picture of the bottom showing the area that clamps to carburetor, might help in determining what these air cleaners were used on.

Thanks, I posted these during a fit of cleaning in the shop and didn't finish the job. Here is the second air cleaner. The neck is smaller.

That left one looks very much like a 40 Donaldson air cleaner. Would fit lots of other years but would be correct for at least a 40 I believe. I have one just like it on my 40 station wagon. A 40 could also have a dry air cleaner that has a 91 on the bottom (also used in 39). United supplied an oil bath air cleaner for 40 also but it looks different (but not like the one on the right). I think the oil bath air cleaners were an option in 40.

Your air cleaner on the left is a Donaldson oil bath air cleaner. It. Is correct for 1935-40 Fords see attached photos.

Yup, That's exactly the same except mine is missing the extended bolt. Thanks.
