Default Model B carb rebuilds

Who is now rebuilding model B carbs? Renners and Berts are no longer doing them.

Do not know if this guy does them, but you could email and ask.
I know he does a great job on the ones listed on this site.

I do them occasionally. Depends what they need. I have limited parts and cores. They can be a pain.
I advertise in the restorer or model a news.

Hello Old 31, you can refresh your Model B Carb yourself. Get a copy of "Restoring The Model A and B Carburetors" by Rex Reheis. I would also refer you to Steve Pargater's carburetor repair manual. After reading these "how to" manuals you will be an expert! The keys to this process are soaking the carburetor in cleaner, flushing out, checking for flow through all flow passages and most importantly, flow testing the carburetor jets and adjusting them to specifications in these manuals. It can be a fun project and in the future if your Model A or B dares to have a hiccup, you will know exactly what to do. Good luck, Ed

I would highly recommend the carburetor and carbohydrates video offered by Brattons and I think Snyders also . You get to see Fred Carelton restore a rusty Zenith carb that had been left outside for years. If you have an acetylene torch in your shop it will be of great help . I've used this method on several rusty model A and B zenith carburetors with excellent results .

Ed yes they can but I’ve had happy custoners from the ones I’ve done.
The pressed in gav etc just makes them a little more difficult. Good sealing needle and seats, etc.
