I know I did not get permission from by Mitch to use his photo , but I thought this conversion to B&W would make it look like it was taken in Fall 1930

Great looking cars.
Mlp623, if you are waiting to get a pinstripe, Jim Brand can't be too far from you.

HA! Jim did pinstripe it - it is french grey on Dawn Grey. We did try Straw - which shows up better, but thought the grey was nice. See pic...

We had a club tour in VA yesterday. I will see if any shots have the appropriate background.

Thanks Mitch! Jim is a great guy and the best striper.

There is a great thread in the early V8 group of fords in the fall - that is what gave me the idea https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=179732

A couple of guys post pictures of their cars in front of beautiful autumn colors and the conversation digresses to my ' falling ' hair line !

Mitch, Don't wash your car, I striped it using latex !

Thanks. It is Dawn Grey and Dawn Grey light. 1928 colors, but reversed. Wouldn't pass for fine point but does great for driving around in the fall. Notice how pale it looks in the full sun in one picture - that is not a good representation of the color. The other "darker" more saturated colors are more representative.

Now that I looked closer I can faintly see the pinstripe in your first picture. Those sure are beautiful colors, and I hope I can see it in person some day.

Thanks Tom. I can assure you in person the stripe shows up very nicely.

Possibly Toledo?
