Default hoping I have a single disc clutch

I will be removing the starter from our early '28 Coupe tomorrow to get it rebuilt. The engine block has been replaced at some point with a '30 model block. I hope the early multi-plate clutch was swapped for a single disc when the engine block was changed. I will be looking, trying to figure out which I have while I'm under the car. I have the floor boards out now.
The clutch works well but I'm thinking about when/if the time comes for replacement $$$$$.

If you have the floor boards out you should be able to tell pretty easily if you pull the inspection cover off the bell housing.

Finding multi-plate clutches is pretty rare. Most didn't last very long and the Ford dealers followed the service bulletin for replacement.
