28 visor , what are we missing

I presume this is a reproduction visor that came with our 28 Tudor.
It’s just mocked up with the wrong screws but sure does not look like it is in the right place or are we missing something?

When the front header wood is in place it might look just fine. I did a 29 tudor into a de luxe delivery and the visor looks much like the one I had. I don't know if 28 was different, check the judging standards for that bit of information. Good luck. Also the piece shown in No. 2 fits over the header and I believe I put it on first. Looks good when finished,

The original 28-29 sun visors had a cover made of black roof material . Repro visors covers are offered by some vendors .

The visor has about 8 screw holes that allow you to screw it into the header wood bull-nose piece that sits on the top of the header steel cross member. As was said, the 28/29 visor was covered with top material, which the vendors sell. Rather than cover the visor, some have painted it black or body color. The correct treatment is to cover it.
