Default Visited Snyder's last week.

I have been ordering parts like crazy, and found myself in the area for work last week. A customer cancelled and it gave me time to visit their place.

I have to say the customer service inside was top notch, and they made this newbie feel good about working on this car. The V8 engine made from 2 model T blocks in the lobby was pretty sweet, I wish I had remembered to take a picture.

I just wish I knew I was going to be that close, I would have brought my carb and swapped it for one of their rebuilts in person and saved the shipping...

I wish I had that luck! A man could save a ton of money on shipping!

I stopped at their store 3 years ago on a round the country tour. They treated me like I was the only customer they ever had or will have. They are great. That town car wasn't too bad to look at either.

Coming from California I had one heck of a tiime finding them. I had to call for directions more than once. They are Waay out in the woods.

Thanks goodness I found out New Springfield OH wasn't next to Springfield OH. They are at opposite ends of the state.

I think paying shipping would have been cheaper than driving there from CA. :>)

Im green with envy!

I could save a ton of money for shipping AND a ton of money for taxes
( Ja - i have to pay taxes on the shipping-costs too as its surplus-value)

And i could save weeks for transportation

Cant blame a vandor for non of those points (Snyders allways treated me very well).

Sometimes i wonder if it wouldnt be better to pickup parts myself....

Best regards

My wife and I traveled to Snyders a couple of years ago in our Tahoe. We loaded it till it wouldn't handle any more 'stuff'. To me it was like going to Santa Claus's workshop. It's not like "just going to a store", it's an adventure. And it's only a 3 hour drive (one way).

We also had the fortune of meeting TOM JORDAN, Snyder's in-house Expert. Tom knows these A's & T's inside and out and I mean it literally. He's been a God-send for me.

Now that Miss Tillie is up and running, I'd need a really good excuse for a trip back there, but this time I'm sure it won't be in the Tahoe , it will be in the CRV. But then there's a lot of storage area in it too.....who knows...?!?!

P.S we filled the Tahoe but emptied the Bank...

I was at Snyder's last Fall. There is an article in the next Model A Times about the visit. It includes a picture of that Town Car in the lobby.

I've bought from Snyder's on a couple of occasions and it's been a pleasant
experience both times. The person on the phone was patient and was willing to go into detail and answer all of my questions.

I made my first trip to Snyder's in the early 1970's and was like a kid on Christmas morning! I have bought from them ever since!

I'd love to go sometime. But A&L is close by, not as large but it's like walking into a candy store at the mall. Just bring money.

When you go there, make sure you visit their farm and plan to spend quite some time looking at their car collection. It is just a short drive from their store.
