Default Not Model A related: container opening help

It seems like every liquid container we get now days is sealed tightly.
Some have a wimpy tab which I can't get my fat fingers to grip. Pliers tears the tab off.

So far the best tool I find is a flat screwdriver to poke a hole in the seal and then, with the blade under the seal, work it around lifting the seal off as I turn the container.
Gooder methods?

Clem

the wimpy tab is a giggle compared to the cap itself that has to be squeezed, pushed down, etc. while simultaneously being turned.
