Default Headlight Bar

I found a headlight bar on the internet that was listed as a Model A bar. It had oval mounting holes. All of the Model A bars that I have seen have square mounting holes. I have seen 1932 bars and bolts that have oval mounting shaped attachment. Is that the only difference in the two models? Any input would be appreciated.

Without a picture it is hard to identify, but in early 30 they made a stamped steel headlight bar that had slots for the bolts for where the license plate attaches. Is this what you were referring to?

If it is a '32 bar there will be bosses around the oval holes, it won't sit flat on a surface like an A bar. I read some were that the BB truck bars are plain, no stainless between the sockets. Bob

I have an original 32 Hdlmp Bar , it doe's have oval bolt holes at the fender mounts. in your picture it appears to have a 30/31 Bar at the top.....Center is a 32 Bar.....Lower bar is 28/29

I have seen 10 or 20 year old WASHING MACHINE parts listed as Model A parts. If it has a fuzzy picture or just does not look wright DO NOT BID. About 1/4 of the parts listed on Ebay as Model A are NOT Model A.
I have noticed the same thing. Thanks for the help guys.
