How do you install safety switch on floor of tudor
Some while back I read how to install the switch on the floorboard of a tudor by cutting hole in floorboard. I forgot gentlemans name. What size hole, what size cables were used and where do cables get routed so as not to cause problems.
Appreciate very much ans./John josh1331@verizon |

I made an extension for the switch handle so that I could just make a 3/8" hole in the floor board. The handle will just be above the floor mat between the seats. I also did as suggested and made three indentations in the bottom plate so that the bumps on the top of the switch body would fit into them and keep the switch from turning. Mine is mounted in the square hole in the center of the cross member. Because of the location, I put the switch in the ground side of the battery. You might have to click on the pictures to get them larger. Last edited by Gary/IA; 06-08-2010 at 09:35 PM. Reason: I guess clicking on the pictures doesn't make them larger. Another problem for me to solve! |
