Ronnie, from my research I guessed it to be from an Albatross. I would sure like to start that project, but many others are ahead of it now.

My tank was used under the Navy Bearcat this size and shape tank was used under a lot of planes during the war and well after. At a local air show I saw two of these tanks one under each wing of a restored twin engine plane they were both spotless and dent free pretty cool I thought.

could only fit a 60hp in mine,not enough room for anything else,its a f84e thunderjet wing tip tank
