Re: 1931 Ford Model A Deluxe Ute
I didn't realize that these Model AA Tow Trucks were so popular. This Model AA Service Truck is on display at Gilmores, Hickory Corner, Michigan, or it was back in 2013 when I took these pictures. |

Re: 1931 Ford Model A Deluxe Ute
Here is a great picture of what would be the absolute best 1934 Ford Coupe Ute in Australia. I know that it has hot rodded, but the sheet metal, fit and finish is 100%. an absolute credit to the Owner Rob. This is what the genuine 1934 Ford Coupe Utes should look like, not the Ute that Ford Australia is promoting as a genuine 1934 Ford Coupe Ute. |

I was fortunate enough to be invited to tour the collection of Model A's before the Elliot Museum acquired the collection. It was located in Palm Beach a few years ago and it was amazing to see. Most of the collection was trucks and commercial vehicles and I took lots of pictures. I hope to visit the Elliot Museum some day and see their awesome collection. TerryO |

Sorry. The Valiant was a six Automatic. And it was never given a name. But a buddy of the teacher bought the car and shipped it to Ireland. Painted it red. I guess after 45 years, you'd call that teacher a inspiration. Thanks Mr. Rozee. P.S. He's in his 90's and still going strong.

Re: 1931 Ford Model A Deluxe Ute
Steve We never had a Closed Cab Model A Utility here in Australia - Well I tell a lie, according to the Ford Manufacturing records there were 13 made between 1930 and the end of production but m=nobody has ever seen one. Dave

Re: 1931 Ford Model A Deluxe Ute
Here is a picture of another Australian 1928 Ford Model A Roadster Ute. Notice that the rear body sides are joined to the "pillar" where the door shuts. These Utes are unique to Australia. They were offered here in Roadster form until the final ones being the 1938 models. These open Utes began falling out of favor when the Coupe Ute was introduced in 1934. The 1938 Ford Roadster Utes are extremely rare, and I only know of one survivor which needs a total restoration. |
