Yes my car has a Vintique hood ornament that I bought way back when they were first available.

I found two problems:

1. The holes in the end of the ornament on top of the radiator did not fit and had to be enlarged.

2. Side trim where it meets the ornament was too wide for the ornament so I had to trim the ends of the stainless steel grille side trim to fit the ornament.

I believe the later produced Bob Drake ornament solved these issues, but cannot verify first hand.

I believe the ornament that came in a box of parts with my car was also a Vintique brand and I had the same issues Gary describes.
