If your objective is find an original '32 lens, you can forget your tape measure and still be certain of what you are looking at. The '32 lens is the only convex Ford script lens with three tabs molded into the perimeter of the lens. The outside diameter of a '33-'34 lenses is virtually identical to the '32 lens, but there are no tabs on the perimeter.

Looking for a set of Bosch lens and found several headlights (with lenses) of different diameters but all are listed in mm or cm so was looking for the general diameter to help refine my search (or disqualify candidates). Thanks for the "Tab" info Dave.
