Default Ignition Lock restoration?

Anyone in the hobby restoring original 30-31 Electrolock Ignition Switch cables?

I'm electrically-challenged, but I'm suspecting a short or grounding of the inner wire (no voltage at distributor-end plunger) and I hate to mess it up.

Get in touch with:

DICK CRABTREE
[email protected]

I recently got a restored Ignition Switch from him. First quality, excellent work, very fairly priced. As far as I know, he will restore your switch assembly or sell you one of his.

My experience, Chris

I agree with Chris, Dick Crabtree's work is excellant and he stands behind his switches. I bought a pop out for my 28 several years ago and I am very pleased to have delt with Mr. Crabtree.

The response is much appreciated. Thank you all.

Where is Mr. Crabtree located? I see one in Texas; another in South Dakota.

Dick Crabtree will also help you with locking door handles. When I bought my Pop Out from him, I also bought a very nice restored Locking Door Handle. He keyed them both alike , just like the car it would have been when the it came from the factory.

Update:

Again, thanks for the recommendations. I have since had the ignition cable repaired/restored by Dick Crabtree.

Turn around time was great, and Dick is just a pleasure to deal with.

Not only does the switch look and work great, Dick included a couple of extras I had not bargained for.

Great to have people like this in the hobby. Kudos!
