Default Original shocks on lowered car

I have just replaced the springs on my car with new reversed eye springs from Posies. These springs will give me a two inch drop. I realize this will change the amount of upward travel of the shock arm. Without going to tube shocks what are my options to correct this ?

Several options. Shorten a dogbone connector by an inch or so and re-weld it together. You can use just one bolt and weld a key to one of the halves to keep the dogbone correctly indexed.

The other option is to heat & bend, -or section the shock arm on an angle and re-weld it. Probably 15° - 20° of an angle would be enough, and then use stock length tubular links or the later dogbone connectors.

Before you do anything, manually check to see if they have enough travel as-is, you may not need to change anything???
