Default Transmission re-builder needed

Is there anybody in the San Fernando Valley area that can go thru my '39 transmission?
TIA,
Chris

Sometime in the past IIRC there was a post either here on the Barn or on the HAMB about a trans re-builder in SoCal. I don't remember the exact post but a search might turn up something. I'm sure you'll also get some who will tell you they aren't all that complicated and to do it yourself with the help of Mac Van Pelt's book. But it you don't want to tackle it yourself and can't find someone to do it locally you can always ship it to Mac. If you do you'll know it will be done right and work as it should when you get it back. One thing is for sure, you want it right the first time. Having to pull the trans again if something isn't right is a real PITA. JMO
