Default Dual Side Mounts on 29 Roadster

I have dual side mounts on my 29 Roadster, and I just noticed the carrier arms are different lengths. They look identical, but one is about 1-1/2” longer than the other. All the parts books indicate the same part is used on both sides on 29’s. Has anyone else seen this problem? Also what is the length of the items on most cars?

I'll have to look at mine. Do the spares stand up vertically?

Thank to Charles Reese for answering my problem. Compared to his,
the longer one is correct. I don’t know where the shorter one came from.
