Default Help ID a Model T in old pictures please

A co-worker was going through some family photos and found these pictures.

Can you all tell me more about the car please.

I would guess a 1917 - 1922 Touring

1917 Touring
Last year for the oval cross-section top sockets.
First year for the new style black radiator

Looks like the second pic of the two guys was printed with the negative reversed. Wonder why they had the hood off?

Maybe they had cooked their meal on the exhaust manifold?

Yeah, I thought about that - still seems like a lot more trouble to take it off rather than just folding it open.
