Here's my 12/30, San Francisco plant assembled, 1931 Deluxe coupe with a factory trunk, in Lombard Blue (I think).
It's really dark and looks black most of the time.

Its hard to see the French Grey stripes but they're there, just old and well worn

'29 Special Coupe (49-A), currently cream with brown (some metallic in it) with reddish-orange wheels and accent striping. Not anywhere near original, but will stay like that as I educate myself on the whole ownership experience.!!

Here is my early 28 open cab pickup. I bought it like this from a deceased person's family. Not sure what shade of green it is or even if its an original color. Looks like an original shade to me. Black fenders obviously, wheels are sort of a yellowish cream color, so what would that be?

"Thus, In the range of Ford colours now available to the public, there is the girl's sports car, the doctor's car, the car for the youth, cars for every function - colours to suit the taste or need of every individual."

PS. You can tell that "Sports Phaeton" wasn't in the spell checker of the day as Ford got it wrong. Should have used the term "Sports Tourer" like everyone else did here.

Trying too hard to be 1920's funky I guess.

PPS.
The red roadster it says is "Corinthian Purple".
This is a mixture of purple and red I gather.

It is quite a fashionable colour, even by today's standard, and would have looked quite striking. It is listed here:
http://www.latex.knobs-dials.com/coding/colortest?q=nth

Maybe this is for "girls sports car" ...

After looking through the previous pictures I'm now no more sure of the colour of my car than I was before. 1930 Tudor painted about 35 years ago.

My almost completed 29 special coupe. Not even close to any original colors. But I picked a light grey and a maroon out of the color books. The car is a little off topic but is mostly Model A.

That's those pesky "Drabs" Chichle and Copra (I think the darker one is the copra) I say "Pesky" because there's at least two versions of the darker one. Here's what I think I know, For many years the colors were a two tone brown. Then PPG (?) got the bright idea of changing the darker one to a greenish gray. At least that's my understanding of it. I've got the same colors on my 30 Briggs T.S.
Go to my profile and under the albums "My A" you'll find several pictures of it.

August, 1930 (round speedo) Closed Cab Pickup - rubellite red or as close to it as we could get 30+ years ago. Don't remember for sure but think stripe was supposed to be straw; never did get around to doing it

April, 1930 (oval speedo) Sport Coupe - the incorrect greenish Copra Drab and Chicle Drab with Straw stripe

Sadly, both were sold 20+ years ago

All the parts houses should sell it in spray cans. I buy mine locally from Little Dearborn and will post two pictures of the engine I'm working on right now.
