Is there any interest for the FORD ENGINE I.D. System to be corrected/updated?

Okay, the text FORD ENGINE I.D. SYSTEM was highlighted in my browser and I wasn't logged in - hitting the highlighted text took me to an Amazon.com sales page.

There's a Ford Engine ID System page? Where?

Mr. Tast -

Your original post is shown requesting the info. I can make a concise list of the engine coding if you haven't already come across a source if anyone is interested.

The list in post #1 is good enough for me, although there are a couple codes I don't totally agree with, like ECJ, which is '55 and '56 T-Bird. The list just says '55 292 with no mention of T-Bird only.

Anything would be helpful to chronicle what these codes/prefixes mean. Thanks in advance.
