Do you have a clean screen on the oil pump?
Did you use gaskets on the oil pump gear cover if none should be there?
Do you have a good spring holding the pump tight to the block?
Screen is clean.
No gaskets, tolerance is tight on gears and cover.
Good spring.

I do not suspect the pump since 3 different pumps did the same. When I run the pumps with a drill it sends oil out 6-8 inches on each side.
I suspected a blockage in the block...none found. The only thing that makes any sense is the oil is going somewhere other than the outlet pipe and I think the only place it can go before the outlet is the center bearing of the cam.

It's disappointing as I wanted to get a good video of the oil flow... may have to use a different engine.

A very fast idle. I'll post more videos as I go along.

It could be the center main on the cam, with excessive clearance.

AHA!! I'm not the only one thinking that way. (although, if you think like me you should be very scared)

Nothing in life is a novelty if you learn something and you can always learn something.

Remember...."The amount of knowledge gained is directly proportional to the amount of equipment ruined."
