Golly. So sad to hear. Rainmaker was a champion in every sense. His cook-offs at Hershey were a must visit. He always worried about all of us. His inventions were most helpful to all who knew him and used his great wealth of knowledge. Always positive. If we had a Hall of Fame, I'd put him at the very top. My wife and I were very honored to know him and call him a friend.

Thoughts and prayers to his family,

Clem and Sandy Clement

Very sad. Condolences to the family. Knew him for many years and was a great source of ideas. He even had me write an article for the M.A.N. about one of his ideas. Definitely will be missed.

Sad way to start the day. I remember the chili fests at Hershey. I still have the yellow chili fest shirt.
Bill is right. Share your knowledge, we are all heading that way, perhaps sooner than we would like.

That is such sad news. Ron was one of the great ones, and I always hoped to visit his shop, but sadly never made the trip. Condolences to his family. Ron sure will be missed.

RIP my friend. I often think of the time we spent one winter evening on the phone. We yakked for an hour and a half. Good memory for sure.
